They were shown how to achieve the maximum performance from a System which includes the ROOM...

Long held myths were dispelled and an understanding of what is going on from an acoustical perspective in small rooms was revealed...

Now THX Certified Technician L1 on Staff

Acoustic Vision, Director Gordon Rosario successfully completed THX Home Theatre Technician Training L1, recently held at CEDIA Expo in Melbourne in June 2010. When asked what Gordon thought of the training, he replied "I believe the training was worthwhile in that much about the THX myth was explained clearly. I can confidently say that THX products are not just rubber stamped but thoroughly tested for an expected level of performance. The training was not as in depth as the HAA training on acoustics, but nonetheless informative. A 50 strong group of AV Pros from around the country heard that ROOM ACOUSTICS can account for up to 50% of the audio quality perceived. I am hopeful that the lengthy amount of the course time devoted to room acoustics was taken on board by the participants. I sure it was and we look forward to assisting some of them in the future"

Audio Technology Magazine - Review May 09

RPG SkylineLP Diffusors have recently been reviewed in Audio Technology Magazine by Andy Stewart.

Andy Stewart - Audio Technology Magazine

"The SkylineLP's sound great and have tightened up the reflections off the roof considerably. One things for sure they work - unlike other prefab acoustic treatments. They look great and are easy to install - I wouldn't hesitate.

Latest Product - QuestAI Home Theatre Design Packages

At last... an affordable fully engineered design package is available here in Australia

If we don’t have one of our own , almost all of us know someone with a home theatre.  Meanwhile, its easy to become overwhelmed by all of the hype when considering what’s best in terms of a system.  What does this mean in practical terms?

Well it’s a bit like the difference between a family sedan and a Formula 1 racing car.  In a nutshell - it’s all about PERFORMANCE!!

Fast cars don’t just design and build themselves.  It’s only after meticulous planning and commitment, coupled with painstaking research and development that a supercar emerges into life.

Whats this got to do with my home theatre I hear you ask?  Well, simply put; you wouldn’t expect to get the best out of a Formula 1 vehicle if you drove it across a ploughed field.  Just as a performance car needs a good road surface to achieve its potential; so too your audio system needs a sympathetic environment if it’s to be heard and appreciated properly.

In the battle against “Bad Audio,” Acoustic Vision are proud to have joined forces with Quest Acoustical Interiors (QuestAI)  and RPG Diffusor Systems Inc!

QuestAI have developed brand new design products which are simple, straightforward and cost effective.  Options featuring different system configurations ie 2 channel, SACD, 5.1, 6.1, & 7.1 etc. existing rooms, new rooms, video integration, power requirements, treatment strategies and different levels of financial investment are all available.  So simultaneously maximize your Family's entertainment experience and your valued real estate investment.  Call us on (03) 9769 7212 to hear about how these engineered products can benefit you.

Get the Winning Edge... Design Partner Opportunities

When it comes to the small/medium sized room, the palette of QuestAI products offer a unique ability to deliver fully engineered Media or Listening Rooms and Home Theatres, designed by some of the very best acoustical designers in the industry. Once the preserve of the rich and famous this service is now accessable at affordable prices to anyone who is passionate about performance.

We are presently looking for a small number of elite Design Partners in each Australian State, to join with us to establish and promote the product to a professional market including architects, designers, custom installers and reputable audio visual outlets. This opportunity represents a key future market advantage for the successful applicants.

If you are HAA Level II Certified, ISF or possess other relevant industry qualifications/experience and are passionate about creating the ultimate home theatre experience then call or email us for a confidential no obligation chat about how you can be part of this amazing opportunity. Acoustic panels

The SkylineLPs definitely sounded better up close where most of my listeners will be.  Your advice confirmed them as a better choice for my room.  The sound difference is incredible!   The back half of the room has opened up amazingly, and even sitting relatively close to the panel there aren't any noticeable artifacts (at least that my tin ears can hear!).  In the listening position (on the couch) the clarity has improved, as has the imaging.  One of my reference tracks is "Hey Nineteen" by Steely Dan and the definition in the mix was incredible.  My son, a pro muso and familiar with the room, was amazed at the difference.   " He was listening to the reverb tail on a guitar part that he had never heard clearly before. From the mixing position I am hearing the same imaging benefits.  Even though I'm facing a RFZ it feels like the whole room has opened up in size.  I thought it was good before, but it's much better now. The room sounds open, but the mix seems "tighter", more precise, more tonally and spatially accurate, easier to tell where everything is and whats its really doing.  I am amazed! Another benefit - the room takes the volume better.  I can playback with levels around 80-82dB without feeling pressure on my ears.  I didn't realise it, but previously that level would be too loud, and couldn't be endured for long, it was an ugly volume.  Now it's sweet! Over the last two evenings I've been out there just listening to music - what a difference. As for the diffusion in small rooms argument - I'm all for it. I will definitely put some LPs on the tracking room ceiling.

Anyway, thanks for your advice the other day, I am a very satisfied customer.

Cheers

Glenn - Melbourne
