It goes without saying that the worlds leading architects and designers have attained the very pinnacle of their profession, by virtue of an innate and special talent for being able to interpret a clients’ brief and delivering an aesthetically pleasing and functional building.
However, truly great architects and designers are so much more than that, they are artists, with an eye and a feeling for every detail, particularly those areas of the building which can never be seen. What does this mean? Well, it’s the "ambience" of the structure, which is more felt than observed. That certain something which makes the space truly fit for its intended purpose.
A great looking building is one which has an ambience which truly embraces its users and occupants and makes their ability to function, if not actually pleasant and enjoyable, at least as stress free and efficient as possible.
Although subject to varying opinions, the acoustical qualities of any building will either add or detract from the "ambience quotient" by perhaps as much as fifty percent.
It is now a well documented fact, that noise fatigue is a critical element in promoting loss of concentration, inefficiency, and poor productivity in the workplace. Individuals exposed to noised induced stress, can over a period of time, develop other long terms physical effects such as deafness and even immune system related illnesses.
We are therefore particularly pleased to have teamed up with the Swiss based company N’ H Akustik + Design AG, who with usual Swiss efficiency and precision have developed a superb, patented range of acoustic treatments in the form of Topakustik and Topperfo panels and planks which are available in a vast range of styles and colours.
Topakustik and Topperfo products are manufactured from medium density fibreboard (MDF) as a standard. Thanks to the homogenous structure, MDF is well suited for this application. Only panels meeting the international emission values E1 are processed. Panels are also available in No added Formaldehyde and FSC Certified upon request.
Other Special Core Panels are also available and can be classified according to requirements with regard to

-Special properties with regard to stability or moisture
Whilst Topakustik and Topperfo panels and planks can be used for any interior, they are particularly appropriate to public spaces such as Court Houses, Hospitals, Pools, Churches, Schools and Auditoria, as well as Commercial premises and Offices etc.
